Holly and Chris got Bessie in late 2024 when the transmission on Holly's daily driver died. The reliable 2025 Subaru Outback has quickly become the new Wonder Bound workhorse hitting 28968km (18,000mi) in just shy of 6 months.

If the space inside Biggy was like a hotel, Bessie is a 5-star resort. Not only is the Wonder Bound crew able to cram everyone inside, Bessie can do it comfortably and her adaptive cruise control has further extended the range of trips allowing Chris and Holly to take more trips farther away. Both of which have paved the way for their new style of traveling, the Blitz Adventure.
